Ameristar Casinos (ASCA) Appoints GM
Ameristar Casinos Inc (ASCA: 18.22 -2.98%) has announced today that industry veteran George Stadler has been appointed to lead its casino-hotel property in Vicksburg Mississippi.
Stadler comes with nearly 20 years of experience and served as Vice President and General Manager of Boyd Gaming’s Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Tunica, Mississippi since 2007.
“George’s understanding of the Mississippi gaming market and his success in creating revenue enhancement programs make him ideally qualified to lead our Vicksburg team,” Chairman Ray Neilsen said in the press release “Further, his broad experience as an Executive Chef and in Food & Beverage leadership will complement Ameristar’s focus on the total entertainment experience.”
Stadler has an Associate of Arts degree from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America.
Stadler will assume his role as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the largest dockside casino in central Mississippi, effective immediately.
