Chairman and CEO, Daniel Lee, of Pinnacle Entertainment (PNK: 9.11 0.00%) may be the subject of investigation, after Missouri State Senator Tim Green request law enforcement to look into his actions.

The agenda for Tuesday nights Council meeting in St. Louis was to vote on the re-zoning of property in North County for a casino site proposed by another company.

Allegedly, Lee, his attorney, another executive requested County Councilman Steve Stenger to vote against the rezoning efforts, and reminded him of Pinnacle’s large investment in his district for the new River City Casino.

Lee reportedly leaped on to the council’s platform and shouted threats to the councilman that he had made the worst move of his career, when Stenger voted to pass the issue.

Pinnacle Entertainment owns three of the regions casinos, downtowns Lumiere Place, the President Casino and River City.

Pinnacle spokeswoman Pauline Yoshihashi says if an investigation is conducted, Pinnacle will fully cooperate.
