The Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, owned and operated by Las Vegas Sands Corp (LVS: 19.50 +1.14%) reported a gaming boost last week, marking its second consecutive busiest week since August.

According to the revenues released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Board on Wednesday, gamblers wagered $62.9 million in slot machines at the casino. Sands profited $4.1 million in gross terminal revenue. Sands saw a $4.09 million profit with $61.5 million in wagering the previous week.

Casino managers attribute the recent incline, in part, to a marketing campaign which gave away more than $1 million of free play money to its cardholders.

Executives are hopeful that wagering will continue to increase, as plans to entice patrons continue. Among those plans include the opening of two dining facilities at the Bethlehem casino, scheduled for November 22.

Renowned Chef Emeril Lagasse, will open his first ever burger restaurant, Burgers and More by Emeril. The famous New York City Camegie Deli will also launch a new branch at the resort.
